The Competition

 BOBC VENUE

The British Open Beach Championship visits North Wales for the very first time this year, arriving on the sweeping shorelines of the stunning counties of Denbighshire and Conwy.

It will guarantee to prove a fitting venue and amazing setting for this major event and will no doubt develop into one of the premier shore angling competitions in the calendar.

The BOBC competition boundaries cross the border of two counties and stretch for over 10 miles, utilising some of the most accessible sea fishing beaches in the UK.

They are sure to provide sea anglers of all skills and experience the chance to land a big prize wining fish and possibly even the title of British Open Beach Champion.

Beginning at the Northern boundary limit at Prestatyn’s Barkby Beach, the Championship stretches South along the coast through Rhyl and Kinmel Bay, past the Abergale & Pensarn railway station down to the southern boundary limit at the weir head near Llanddulas.
